The Michigan Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) program today opened nominations for the second-annual, 2027 Michigan Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) of the Year Award!

What is the 2027 Michigan CCA of the Year Award?

This recognition, now in its 2nd year, is intended to honor an outstanding Michigan CCA who demonstrates exceptional performance, leadership and service to both farmers and our agricultural community.

The award celebrates CCAs who go above and beyond, helping farmers improve productivity while advancing stewardship.

Eligibility:

Nominees must hold a current Michigan CCA certification. Nominations must be submitted by a CCA in good standing.

Currently-serving individual members of the Michigan CCA Board of Directors and the Michigan Agri-Business Association Board of Directors are not eligible.

There is no age or experience requirement for this recognition.

How to Submit Your Nomination:

To nominate a deserving colleague, complete the nomination form and email it to maba@miagbiz.org by Friday, December 4, 2026.

The Michigan CCA of the Year will be recognized at the 2027 MABA Winter Conference and Trade Show, with additional recognition throughout the year.
